I love food and food trucks. This was the real star of Wednesday’s Maitland’s Lake Lily Food Truck fair. Here’s the details.
“A Yum Yum version of a “Droolius Remixed” Classic Red Velvet Cake. The cake batter is mixed with Big Wheel Bacon Fat. The cupcake uses Big Wheel Bacon that has been Candied and baked in the Yum Yum Cucina. Some of the Candied bacon is folded into Classic Yum Yum Creamed Cheese frosting and remixed as the filling. For an added Droolius touch; we used the Droolius Donut Glaze Recipe that was offered in his Red Velvet Bacon Donut Recipe. Candied bacon is generously added to the top of the glaze to showcase this one-of-a-kind cupcake.”

The Dough Dough Bird
This cupcake is everything a chocolate chip cookie should be, but in a cupcake! We take a cookie cake and put a dollop of raw cookie dough in the middle while the cake bakes. Don’t worry though, this raw cookie dough is eggless! Its topped with a Chocolate Chip Cookie frosting – this cupcake is not for the faint of heart!

Peterbrooke Inspired Salted Caramel
Yum Yum’s take on the Salted Caramel A Chocolate Caramel Cake is topped with a rich Caramel Buttercream which is drizzled with Caramel and Sea Salt and is then finally topped with Peterbrooke’s famous Chocolate Covered Caramel Popcorn!
