Water is essential to workouts…

I went to the YMCA today with every intention to do the spin class…

But I forgot my water bottle…and realized this as I pulled into the YMCA with four boys in my car. (Last night was summer sleepover night- crazy idea I had!!) I’m lucky I remembered all the kids.

So, I did not offcially spin- and I don’t think I would have lived through the class without water.

Instead I went up to the floor and did my own spin class…with some small breaks to the water fountain.

After that- it was 30 minutes on the elipitical while I watched Bravo’s preview of NYC Prep (Season premiere is on Tuesday on Bravo!) and then I did some crunches…and then a round on the weight circuit.

Overall, a great Sunday working.

I even avoided the temptation on the way home…Across the street from the “Y” is the beloved Del Taco….if I go one way home I pass McDonalds…the other way home I pass Sonny’s.  It’s some evil plot.  But, I managed to make it home without any stops by distracting myself with calls on the cell phone…and made myself a nice chicken breast on my new little indoor grill…with a side of veggies…yes people…I eat vegetables now.  (Well, they do have an Asian-type marinade…but still!)

Monday morning, 6am…off to real spin class.
