Quarantine: What To Watch (Part 1)

There’s so much content, and finally some time to watch. I’ve put together a list of my television watching recommendations through this insane time. This is the first installment in a whole What to Watch series. These are the show top-of-mind at the moment – and I’ll have more that will be more specific to themes, services, etc. These are in no particular order!

Schitt’s Creek (POP & Netflix):
I have been preaching about this show since the beginning and I’m so happy people are finally listening to me, right when the show is about to end. But it’s one of the funniest shows around – with a big heart and unbelievable cast. I will also watching anything with Catherine O’Hara.

Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist (NBC & Hulu):
I don’t even know how to describe this show. It’s weird. It’s wonderful.
It has such an unexpected heart with random singing and dancing. I’m obsessed with the cast: Lauren Graham, Jane Levy (from Suburgatory – one of my past favorites!), Peter Gallagher, Mary Steenburgen & so many more. PLUS – they have great gifs:

Love is Blind (Netflix):
This show is trash. But it’s the best kind. It really feed my love of Brave-type of content where it’s nice to escape into other’s drama. Also, Jessica is the worst.

Actually, don’t do this – you will be drunk very quick.

Cheer (Netflix):
Cheerleading! Gymnastics! Concussions!
Amazing to see what these kids at a tiny Texas school can do.
What’s going to happen to season 2 now that corona has shut down the championships!

The Go-To’s:
When in doubt – these shows are great ones to return to when you don’t know what else to watch:

  • 30 Rock
  • Gilmore Girls
  • Parks & Recreation
