Set your DVR’s: Here’s my 2012 fall tv record schedule

A new season of television is upon us.

There’s a lot of new and old out there. And with hundreds of channels, the the non-networks getting better all the time, there’s a lot to weed through.  So here’s my DVR record schedule for PM shows only – I can’t even begin to add in the daytime stuff.

Now while this is my record schedule, I won’t end up watching them all.  That’s because I’ll watch a show once, twice…and then decide if it’s worth a long-term relationship.  So this is my starting point:

SUNDAY:

9 p.m. – CBS – The Good Wife
PM- Normally a new Real Housewives of ?? on Bravo

MONDAY:

8 p.m. – CBS – How I Met Your Mother (I’m getting a bit sick of the show – but still watch.  It’s on the bubble with me.)

8:30 p.m. – CBS – Partners – New comedy created by those that created Will & Grace – so it has to be good.  PLUS, it starts Michael Urie from Ugly Betty fame – and I LOVE him.

9 p.m. – CBS – 2 Broke Girls

9 p.m. – The CW – Gossip Girl

9 p.m. – TNT – Major Crimes

TUESDAY:

8 p.m. – FOX – Raising Hope

8 p.m. – The CW – Hart of Dixie – Am I the only one watching this show?

8:30 p.m. – FOX – Ben and Kate

9 p.m. – FOX – New Girl

9 p.m. – NBC – Go On (I prefer Matthew Perry on the Good Wife instead of Go On – but….alas…)

9:30 p.m. – NBC – The New Normal

9:30 p.m. – FOX – The Mindy Project

10 p.m.- NBC – Parenthood

10 p.m. – ABC – Private Practice

WEDNESDAY:

8 p.m. – NBC – Animal Practice (don’t have a lot of hope and don’t expect it to last past this season – but I’ll give it a chance.)

8 p.m. – ABC – The Middle

8:30 p.m. – NBC – Guys with Kids – produced by Jimmy Fallon? I’m in…

8:30 p.m. – ABC – The Neighbors

9 p.m. – ABC – Modern Family

9:30 p.m. – ABC – Suburgatory

THURSDAY:

8 p.m. – CBS – The Big Bang Theory

8 p.m. – NBC – 30 Rock – Last Season – I’m already crying

8:30 p.m. – NBC – Up All Night

9 p.m. – FOX – Glee

9 p.m. – ABC – Grey’s Anatomy (I will only watch as long as Patrick Dempsey is still on.)

9:30 p.m. – NBC Parks and Recreation

Also – Project Runway, Toy Hunter, Top Chef Masters, Watch What Happens Live, Chelsea Handler…and waiting for HOMELAND to return!!  I’m also watching season 3 of Downton Abbey – but don’t ask me how.

  1. I’m cracking up because your fall tv line-up and my fall tv line-up are almost identical. We need to live closer to each other. 🙂 I feel like my DVR is going to explode.
