The final launch of space shuttle Atlantis

tvjencook / July 8, 2011

The world has seen it’s last launch of the space shuttle.

Atlantis and its four astronauts lifted off from Launch Pad 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 11:29 a.m. on Friday, July 8.

It was the last launch I would view from the Kennedy Space Center Press Site.
