I know  some people LIVE for this time of year…I am not one of those people.

I don’t like dressing up.  Don’t like spending money on something I’m going to wear once…don’t like spending money on kids costumes they are going to grow out of soon….

Plus- costumes are just so cheap! They rip after wearing once!

This year we have added drama.  They don’t do Halloween  at public school- because that would offend people.  So they do “Story Book Day.”  Each student needs to come dressed up as a story-book character- and choose from a pre-set list.

So now I have to come up with two costumes for one kid!! Brendan will be the Big Bad Wolf on Thursday and Darth Vader on Saturday.  Do you know where I can buy a Big Bad Wolf costume? I didn’t think so.  Now I’m stuck trying to make one.  Let me tell you- NOT FUN!!!!

Once this is finished, I’ll share pictures.  Our parents never had to deal with this crap!!
