Kids are at school…I work late tonight…so I took advantage of a quiet morning and went on a great 10 mile bike ride.

Today, I kept it simple and hit the bicycle trail.  There’s been a bit of a bad bike-accident streak amongst my co-workers, so I wanted to keep it as safe as possible.  I even wore my helmet (which I don’t like to wear unless I go off-roading…which I’m scared to do in Florida…see previous post!)

Thankfully, the ride was pretty uneventful.  It was quiet on the trail…saw two people walking their dogs…and only one other biker.

I did see one dead armadillo being eaten by two vultures…that was gross….

But yeah for 10 miles! Now if I can just keep up momentum!
