Today started with success…which is good for a Monday.
I went to my 6am spin class, armed with two water bottles this time, and spent an hour pedaling my little heart out.
It was a great workout and I survived- which is a plus!
I hate sweating- but love when I sweat so much that it drips fro my forehead.
Went home, showered, had to do some running around…but then a crisis….A COCKROACH in my car!!
(they may technically be called a palmetto bug, but seriously, it’s a cockroach.)
Talk about getting your heart rate up. Is it considered exercise if my heart is racing and I’m screaming my head off?
Either way, the heart rate was UP and the little dude was just strolling through the passenger side of my car.
I pulled over and tried to get the damn thing out. It than ran under and into the center counsel. Many swear works were shouted, making me look like a crazy woman.
I drove to my sister’s house, got some raid, and tried to spray it into the counsel.
Tried to calm down, but cried as I was relaying the story.
The thing is, my car is new…like BRAND NEW…it has about 1500 miles on it and is kept in the garage.
So is the garage dirty? Did the bug come with the car? Was he (GOD FORBID!) on MY body when and then jumped off me and into the car????
Either way, I got on the road again to work, and as I’m driving 80 down the highway…it comes out for a stroll again!
There goes the heart rate! It’s like doing intervals!
Mr. Roach walked under the passenger seat…and then walked up into the dash board area under the passenger side. I found a library book to throw at him…but he never walked back down.
When I finally got to work, I waged an all out war, with no success. No idea where that guy went…
Hopefully he dies in my car in the heat today.
