Our annual Marco Island vacation is under way! We are in a new house this year and it’s pretty amazing.

It was a pretty successful day of swimming, fishing, day-drinking, naps and constant snacking.

We’ve decided since we can now fish from the backyard, we will have a fishing competition.

I’m proud to report that Brendan and I are tied for first place with 3 fish each.  We had one injury already, Scott got stabbed with a catfish whisker.  And apparently it’s like getting stabbed with a nail.  So now he’s googling remedies to fix his situation.

We are also next door to owl nests.   The burrowing owls are all over the island and we are excited that we can visit them daily! Enjoy photos from day 1!
