It’s tough to be a Spartan fan in Florida.  We’re surrounded by Gator fans at every turn and it’s often challenging to find Big Ten games in area bars.

We have been very lucky to have an active alumni association here in Central Florida.  And we are even luckier that Orlando is a hot spot for tourists, including Sparty!

He was here for a mascot competition at Disney (he placed 4th!) and the Alumni Association offered him up to our local group for an event.  We had a great time at Kings Bowl and were able to get lots of pictures!

It was such fun to hang with Sparty – who was just having so much fun with the kids.  Brendan’s actual quote, “Now I’m not sure if I want to play football at Michigan State or be Sparty.”
