I’m sure we’ll be adding to this list after Sunday’s Golden Globes! Check out my top 10 list of favorite Amy Poehler and Tina Fey moments. I love that they are best friends. I love that they really seem to have a relationship that supports each other. They seem to be genuinely happy with each others success. I love to see women building each other up instead of tearing each other down.
Here they are- the top 10:
10. Tina Photobomb
This fabulous Tina Fey photobomb from the 2012 Golden Globe Awards. Just one of the signs that they were destined to host this show!
9. Bush Twins
The Bush Twins was a Saturday Night Live skit that I find so great. It’s a hard skit to find and hasn’t made its way onto the Best Of SNL at all. Curious to know if SNL got some negative reaction to this one.
8. Mom Jeans
One of the ultimate commercials made by Saturday Night Light. This commercial has changed how mom’s dress this days!
7. Amy and Tina from high school
Seeing their old photos make me feel less-bad about myself. See, we all had weird hair. It was the style of the times!
And here’s my terrible photo to add to the bunch:
6. Amy & Tina take over Entertainment Weekly
I’m not even kidding that this edition is preventing me from cancelling my Entertainment Weekly subscription. This is one of the funniest magazines ever. From cover-to-cover, Amy & Tina leave their mark and it’s the first time I really laughed AND learned something from this magazine.
5. The Amy/Tina Wrap from Mean Girls
4. Baby Mama
I’m always the Tina in most situations. But this is the one clip where I’m actually more like Amy Poehler’s character than Tina Fey’s.
3. Drinking Amy and Tina
This is from the 2012 Golden Globe Awards. I mean, wouldn’t you want to go drinking with these two? Sign me up for that!
2. SNL Weekend Update
This. Forever.

1. Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton
It’s an all-time favorite. It forever changed the 2008 presidential election. Tina as Sarah Palin really made her a super-star. I even decided to go as Tina dressing as Sarah for Halloween. Fantastic. And bonus, I got a chance to see the exhibit at the Newseum in Washington, D.C.
