So much to say about the holidays and the year that is quickly wrapping up.  But here in the Cook home, there is only one thing on our minds.  The Rose Bowl.

We started the school year in Michigan with a visit/reunion to our alma mater, Michigan State.  We even got to peek at football practice and explore some of the new football buildings that weren’t there when we were students.  My kids were so excited to see the real football team.  It’s been a great season to watch the team as they really pulled through. So many seasons in the past we start strong and fade.  It was great to watch week-after-week this year and see a better team.

So it’s exciting to us to kick off a new year with so much pride in the program.  It’s not just football, but the school.  We are proud to be a Spartan family.  We even featured our Spartan Sprit in the 2013 Cook Family holiday card:
