The cronut craze has taken over New York and much of the world.  And now the doughnut-croissant hybrid has moved into Walt Disney World!

I was lucky enough to randomly find it at Epcot.  It’s technically not called a cronut, since that is now a trademarked name.

The “Croissant Doughnut” is a delicious doughnut that is served warm and covered in cinnamon and sugar.  One bite reveals the flaky croissant like inside, with delicate layers of deliciousness.  I finished one off pretty quick and really wanted another.  They are a great addition to the already great food lineup at Epcot.

You can find the new Croissant Doughnut at the Refreshment Port at Epcot.  It’s located just before Canada as you enter the World Showcase. Each doughnut costs $4.49. I can’t wait to see if people start lining up for this one like they do the ones in New York.  I’ll tell you what, it was the perfect food for a cool Sunday!
