Overall, April was a great workout month. Despite two different out-of-town trips, I got a lot of workouts in. PLUS, a lot of walking in Chicago and Washington, D.C. So happy that this is now just habit…now I need to kick it up a notch and do more of something different because I’m still not seeing results. But I like to track everything I do, which I find is harder with some other exercises. I’m very much a “need to see progress now” type of person to continue – so I have to think about a way to track stuff. I took weight-training once in high school and had this great little book to track things in. I’ve been searching all over, and even the internets have failed me.
April 2013: 281.76 miles on the bike – 146,515 pounds lifted.
Now that the weather is nice, it’s time to get outside a lot and really enjoy this weather, my bike and all the amazing trails and woods that Florida has to offer. The trick is finding time. Every single weekend this month is booked up solid. So…we’ll see how many adventures we can squeeze in!!
And I hit 1,000 miles this month – so I’m already halfway to my yearly goal!!

Nice! Hey-if you want to ever bike or walk the trail, I’ll keep you company. 🙂 I’m hitting the reset button. My weight loss stalled and I’ve been half-assing things but am turning it around now. I use myfitnesspal for tracking and it definitely helps.
