January 2013 is one of my best fitness months in a long time! I just hope I can keep this up for the rest of the year!
January 2013: 299.14 miles on the bike – 155,840 pounds lifted. It was such a great month I even made the board at my YMCA!
I’m really happy with my workout numbers from January, but a little less happy with the scale. Despite all my working out and eating better – still not a lot of progress. In January I have:
- Exercised daily
- Gone cold turkey on Soda. NO SODA of any kind.
- No caffine
- No fried foods
- Joined weight watchers
- Drank so much water that I’ve been peeing non-stop….literally.
And this month I’ve lost a total of 2 pounds. So….perhaps it’s a start. A frustrating start. But a start.
2012 Numbers:
December 2012: 111.19 miles on the bike – 17,540 pounds lifted in weights
November 2012: 56.76 miles – 29,840 pounds lifted
October 2012: 203.65 miles – 89,045 pounds
September 2012: 139.9 miles – 79,540 pounds lifted
August 2012: 272.02 miles – 94,430 pounds lifted
July 2012: 92.29 miles – 41,580 pounds lifted
June 2012: 189.5 miles – 70,849 pounds lifted
May 2012: 31.74 miles – 11,395 pounds lifted
April 2012: 37.87 – 36,870 pounds lifted
March 2012: 41.69 miles – 67,490 pounds lifted
February 2012: 37.95 miles – 12,040 pounds lifted
January 2012: 93.76 miles – 2,675 pounds lifted
Congrats! – Ben
Thanks!!! 🙂
Just now catching up on old posts. It’s as if I wrote this. After having six of the best fitness weeks in my life, I’ve not only not lost any weight, I’ve gained 3 pounds. I try to tell myself that it’s muscle, but when I took my measurements, there was no budging there either. SO FRUSTRATING!
I’ll be interested to see what you think of WW. I’ve been putting it off forever but I think I’m getting close to caving on it. I’m so lazy though. I don’t want to track my food. #whinycomment
Good for you, though. Keep it up! Wish I was a member at the Y too and we could workout together. I’ve been wanting to take a spin class but I’m a big wuss about it and afraid of my first one!
Is it just that we’re getting old and our bodies are hating us? Today is weigh-in Wednesday, and I’m up a pound. And I have NO IDEA why? I’ve been tracking everything. I even want to Daytona Sunday and didn’t even have one sip of beer. I mean…really. That’s asking a lot. I’m about ready to binge eat the day away, but am stopping myself.
As far as spin goes – I’m totally with you on the scary aspect. It’s the only class that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE so much that I go everyday. It’s dark. So no one can really see you be a freak. Plus, you control your own resistance. So when I started, it was really “just keep it light and pedal for 45 minutes.” Before you know it, I’m piling on the resistance. i can get a guest pass if you want to go sometime to the Y!
