August Fitness Goals

In July, I set a goal of 100 miles on my bike in a month.

I managed to easily beat that goal once I added spin classes into the mix.

I’ve been struggling to come up with a goal for August – and I need a goal to push myself.

Since August 1st, I’ve already accomplished:

  • 111.5 miles on the bike
  • 5 hours and 5 minutes or a total 305 minutes on the bike
  • 75 minutes of weights

I’m not sure how to proceed – I’m proud that I’ve made it to the gym as much as I have.  I haven’t been able to get outside too much lately because it’s just too hot.  And after my mosquito encounter a few weeks ago, I’m a bit scared as well.

And should I measure in time? Distance? Calories burned? (Althought that’s not too accurate) So many options….

I’m thinking of:

  • 500 miles on bike
  • 25 hours on the bike
  • 300 minutes of weights

Is that crazy? I was also thinking of adding some pilates into the mix – I need to stretch more.
