Don’t you just love crayons?
Back in the school days, there really was no better feeling than opening a brand new box of Crayola crayons and coloring for the first time. The smell…you know that smell??
Well, I ran across a really interesting chart that I’m fascinated with….
It was 1903 when Crayola released its first box of crayons. Each box was five cents and came with eight colors; red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, brown and black.
In 2010, Crayola sells sets of 150 crayons for about $30.
Weather Sealed has a interesting chart showing the evolution of Crayola colors over the past 107 years.
