Celebrating the season with Carrie Underwood.
“Carrie Underwood: An All-Star Holiday Special” is a two-hour event on Fox.
It’s a variety show where Underwood performs and welcomes guests.
Those guests include Dolly Parton, Brad Paisley, David Cook, Kristin Chenoweth, Christina Applegate and Sons of Sylvia. (I won’t be watching this!!!)
Ray Romano is back on TV with a new series. “Men of a Certain Age” premieres tonight on TNT. Unlike his sitcom, “Everybody Loves Raymond,” Romano says “Men of a Certain Age” is a light
drama with comedic moments.
Scott Bakula and Andre Braugher (BROW’-er) join Romano as three longtime friends. Each is going
through a mid-life crisis. (I will be giving this a watch- looks interesting and funny. Is there life after Raymond?? Not for anyone else on the cast, but perhaps Ray himself!)
Also on TNT….a new episode of “The Closer.” This is the first of three new episodes before the New Year. (Thanks for the great Christmas present TNT!!)
SyFy’s “Alice” wraps up tonight. This modern take on the “Alice and Wonderland” story has Alice as a 20-something martial arts instructor who finds herself on the other side of the looking
glass.
“Find My Family” and “Castle” are on ABC.
New comedy during two of CBS’ three hours of primetime: “How I Met Your Mother,” “Accidentally on Purpose,” “Two and a Half Men” and “The Big Bang Theory.” (Really- how much longer is “Accidentally On Purpose” going to stay on the air???)
