TV power couple Bradley Whitford and Jane Kaczmarek filed divorce papers on Friday.

A rep for Whitford confirmed that Bradley “hopes the media will respect their wish for privacy as they focus on their children.”

The former West Wing star and Malcolm in the Middle actress split after 16 years and have three children, Frances Genevieve, 12, George Edward, 9, and Mary Louisa, 6.
