Was there every any doubt??
ABC just announced renewals for a dozen of their series, including heavy hitters “Dancing with the Stars,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Desperate Housewives.”
The full list of those shows that will definitely be on the air for the 09-10 season:
“America’s Funniest Home Videos,” (don’t care)
“The Bachelor,” (don’t care)
“Brothers & Sisters,” (don’t care)
“Dancing with the Stars,” (don’t care)
“Desperate Housewives,” (don’t care)
“Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” (don’t care)
“Grey’s Anatomy,” (YEAH!)
“Lost,” (don’t care)
“Private Practice,” (YEAH!)
“Supernanny,” (don’t care)
“Ugly Betty” and (YEAH!)
“Wife Swap.” (don’t care)
Missing is all of ABC’s new midseason shows including:
“Better Off Ted,” (like it)
“Castle,” (actually enjoy it!)
“Cupid,” (never heard of it)
“In the Motherhood,” (want it to be good- it’s not!)
“Surviving Suburbia” and (I call it where former tv stars go to die)
“The Unusuals”, (never heard of it)
“Scrubs,” (like it)
“Samantha Who?” (like it)
and several shows ABC already canceled like “Life on Mars.”
“Samantha” and some of the mid-season entries could still wind up on next year’s schedule (so, in theory, could “Scrubs,” though that seems unlikely with Zach Braff and creator Bill Lawrence both leaving), but ABC still has between now and Upfront Week in late May to make decisions on them.
