I spent the weekend in Tampa on what I thought was a fun belated birthday celebration away with my husband (more on that trip in a later blog!).  I really thought that he wanted to just take a fun trip out of two to some fun restaurants and visit some friends I haven’t seen in awhile.  Little did I know, it was all part of a big plot by my friends to do a massive home makeover of my living room.

I suppose you can say I know how to pick my friends.  I mean, who does this? They are simply the best.

So I arrived home Sunday ready to be lazy and do some laundry.  But I wasn’t instantly allowed in the house.  First, I was forced to watch a video.  This video:

My husband made a video of my reaction.  I will not be sharing that.  I was pretty much a mess of blubber and tears.  I mean…HOW DID THEY PULL THIS OFF??

My friend, John has the most stylish home ever.  I have always said that I want him to come tell me what to do with my house.  We’ve lived there for almost 10 years and have never really done anything with it.  We’ve talked about it, but haven’t.  So my friend Amanda came up with this crazy idea and they were able to pull it off all in about 36 hours while I was gone!!!

This room is now the most beautiful place in my house and I never want to leave.  I also want to makeover the rest of the place now so it matches! And I want to have a party!!
