“I’m Going to Disney World!”

It’s really one of my favorite parts of the Super Bowl – the MVP saying “I’m Going to Disney World.”  It gives me goosebumps every time I see the commercial.  I also love that I know the people making it.  It’s amazing to think about all the work that goes into making that one moment happen.  And so cool to think that you win the biggest football game around get on a plane to come here to Disney World.

This year, Seattle Seahawks linebacker Malcolm Smith has the honors.  Smith, voted the Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl XLVIII, joins a who’s who of athletes and celebrities who have shouted those same words as “When You Wish Upon A Star” played in the background. He is the NFL’s first defensive player to star in the commercial.

This year, Idina Menzel, who voiced Elsa in Disney’s Academy Award®-nominated film “Frozen”, sings the classic song, “When You Wish Upon a Star.”

The voice asking the famous question, radio voice of the Detroit Pistons Mark Champion.

The parade is scheduled for Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom today!  The parade will take place in the park this afternoon, expected to be around 2 p.m., but that all depends on travel.
