The 2012 Cook Family Gingerbread House

I present to you, the Cook Family Gingerbread House!

It’s an annual tradition – we buy a kit and go crazy decorating!

The one thing we always do, save some Halloween candy and use the leftovers for decorating.  This kit also came with an icing bag, almost a professional one.  In years past, we were just instructed to cut a small whole in the bag the icing came in.  This separate icing bag really made things a lot easier!

Also, it would help if our new kitty didn’t try to eat all my icicles.  Sigh…

Take a look and let me know what you think!

My kids, of course, wanted it to look like it did on the box.  It included taking these gumdrops and rolling them flat, and then cutting them into squares.  It took forever.
