NBC FALL LINEUP 2009

The 2009-2010 fall television lineup for NBC will include “Law & Order” for a record-tying 20th season, the drama “Chuck.”

But “My Name Is Earl” has been sent packing, and “Medium” is gone.

New shows:
“Day One”
A futuristic drama from “Heroes” writer-producer Jesse Alexander. The show chronicles the aftermath of a global event that devastates the world’s infrastructures when a small band of survivors strive to rebuild society and unravel the mysteries of why the event took place and what the future has in store.

“Parenthood”
A drama based on the hit film of the same name.
Peter Krause (Dirty Sexy MonSey) and Maura Tierney (ER) have just been cast in the project and will play the roles originated by Steve Martin and Dianne Weist in the film version.

“Mercy”
an hourlong project from writer Liz Heldens (Friday Night Lights). The drama with comedic elements revolves around three nurses bound together in friendship by the highs and lows of their personal and professional lives.

“Community”
A new comedy set in a community college and starring Chevy Chase

“100 Questions”
New comedy starring Sophie Winkelman as a woman looking for love who decides to join an online dating service and has to answer their massive 100 question survey


“The Marriage Ref”

A new reality show from executive producers Jerry Seinfeld and Ellen Rakieten (“Oprah”)

“Trauma”
A drama that revolves around the high-energy world of medical emergencies out in the field.

NBC previously announced the renewal of “The Office,” “30 Rock,” “Parks and Recreation,” “The Celebrity Apprentice,” “Southland,” “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” and “Friday Night Lights.”
